"...the need continues to rise. Since #NNoSS began, over 30,000 more children are now in special schools.
"While we welcome signs of action, we still await a coherent, strategic plan — one that addresses the root causes of systemic dysfunction in #SEND.

Absolutely Devastated. Tonight was supposed to be special. Playing a live session with my band on @RadioX with @JohnKennedy and someone/people have stolen everything from our van at London M1 services. I’ve had my beautiful guitar for 6 years and was a gift from my grandad. Don’t know what to do. Laptops and essential medication for a band member too. If anyone tries to sell you them please help. Will list in the pics what we had

WOW! Everyone should listen to this superb maiden speech from newly appointed Prisons, Parole & Probation Minister @JamesTCobbler in the House of Lords today
What an absolutely inspired appointment this is👏👏👏
How my day started.
No I haven’t returned to the 1940’s.
Interestingly I walked into the room and called it out.
Two in the room said they had winced when they saw it.

Based on Labour’s shadow cabinet, 84% went to comprehensive schools, 10% went to private schools and 6% to state grammar schools.

Opportunity should be for all – not just a lucky few.
That’s why education is at the heart of the change this Labour government will make and will be at the forefront of national life once more.
Let’s get to work.
ALT Bridget Phillipson MP, Secretary of State for Education, entering the Department for Education for the first time and greeting civil servants
Last yr a woman told me she could never vote for me as I was “just a waitress with no qualifications” (I owned a catering biz) & she was disgusted by Angela R who she said “couldn’t control herself” (as a teen mum)
Today I’m the local MP & AR is Dep PM.
That’s real Levelling Up
Every single time the Conservatives come to power they increase the size of NHS waiting lists
Please don't let them blame it on Covid or anything else; they were doing exactly the same thing in the 90s
Please RT if you think everyone should be clear on this
