Happy 75th birthday to the NHS. You are the most wonderful organisation. We need to love and protect and thank you for looking after us for the last 75 years. NHS staff: you are amazing and inspirational. Thank you.

Today I step down as Chair of CNWL. It is a fantastic Trust and I have been privileged to be its Chair. Thank you for all your good wishes. I wish the Trust and its amazing staff the very best for the future. This is an organisation which truly lives its values.

Fantastic visit to joint homeless team in Westminster this afternoon. Great example of joint working. The team gives compassionate and caring support and treatment to a group of people who are heavily stigmatised and often forgotten. Thank you for you brilliant work

Just had my second booster. Wonderful spirit at the vaccination centre. Thank you to our brilliant NHS. I will never take you for granted. You are a gift which gives to all of us every day.

Visited the Diabetic Podiatry service in Camden today. Fantastic service for Camden residents which gives a new meaning to going the extra mile!

Just visited the Harrow Children’s services which have joined CNWL. Lovely staff, great work and a wonderful addition to CNWL services

Spent the morning with the Ealing SLT team. Great team who showed flexibility and resilience keeping the service going through COVID. Lucky Ealing residents to have such a service.

Visited our services at Highdown Prison this morning . Met some great and enthusiastic staff doing a great job.

Visited the Heathrow IRC today. Touched to see the residents treated with such dignity and respect by our staff. Humanity in action.

Visited our Sexual Health Services at Mortimer Market this morning. They have kept their services going all through covid plus lent staff to other services. Huge thanks to them all. The team are lovely: friendly and smiling.
