my schedule for the week! on my alt account i 1CCd (beat without continuing!) the hardest shmup i've ever beaten by a wide margin, so i want to go back over the recording on my main channel! i also hope we can finally beat Pocket Zaurus, one of the hardest platformageddon games!

there's an AI loop you can hit in dodonpachi that frees you up to just get up and do whatever you want for as long as you want. which is not something you should encourage in my case

When IIDX16 CS came out, I hosted a launch party. My friends and I took turns posing for the camera wearing the Empress Hat and holding the Empress Jewel (pink gem paperweight), and we set up both the Empress disc Premium Best disc on two TVs.

streaming has taught me that some people have very strange and wrongheaded ideas about hard video games and "talent" that manage to simultaneously place out-of-proportion importance on video games while also managing to be insulting to the people who choose to get good at them

it's just like man at the end of the day it is not that big a deal if you can't beat someone at a fighting game. there's other stuff that matters. so can we please just stop being weird celebrate the fact that this guy loved his hobby so much that he got godlike at it?

i don't know why i keep banging on about this but i feel like people are similarly super unfair to artists about this too. like "artistic talent" is a quantifiable stat they possess more of and it's somehow unfair that they can draw when others can't
