These accounts are now tagged as OutOfDate, and this status should appear across dApps, including Subscan. Affected accounts should update their identity info and request a new judgement from us or another registrar. We also ask dApps to clearly surface negative judgements, and other registrars to remove outdated positive judgements from these accounts. This was only the first batch. dotID is an identity-focused platform for the Polkadot ecosystem: dotid.app Via OpenGov, dotID has been approved to become registrar #5 on Polkadot (ref 1803 - polkadot.subsquare.io/refere…) and registrar #7 on Kusama (ref 626 - kusama.subsquare.io/referend…). It provides a complete end-to-end flow for People Chain identity without requesting any fee: users can manage their on-chain identity, verify signals such as social accounts and email, complete KYC verification, request Reasonable or KnownGood judgements, and explore identities through a public directory. Keeping the registry up to date Last April, dotID issued its first batch (x.com/dotid_app/status/20419…) of OutOfDate judgements on Polkadot. We found 12 on-chain accounts that still held valid registrar judgements but contained multiple outdated identity fields. These accounts are now tagged as OutOfDate, and this status should appear across dApps, including Subscan (people-polkadot.subscan.io). If your account is affected, please update your identity info and request a new judgement from us or another registrar. We also ask dApps to clearly surface negative judgements, and other registrars to remove outdated positive judgements from these accounts. Latest audit We recently audited both the Polkadot and Kusama registries to triage judgement decisions. This currently flags 978 accounts as OutOfDate (336 on Polkadot, 642 on Kusama). Stale identities are re-triaged and downgraded to OutOfDate when their verified contact details no longer resolve: one or more fields (email, Twitter, website, GitHub, Matrix, Discord) are outdated. Please review and update your on-chain identity if needed.

For our KYC verification mechanism through Didit, we made a simple choice: we don't keep any KYC information and we don't keep verification sessions (whether they failed, are in review, or approved). For this reason, we are unable to assist anyone with issues during KYC completion through Didit. If you are unable to complete the verification through Didit, please reach out to us so we can discuss other verification means.

On the Polkadot network, 211 identities were identified with valid judgements but outdated or inaccurate fields. Please review and update your on-chain identity with valid information. dotID will continue monitoring the situation and may issue OutOfDate judgements if necessary.

The dotID registrar will start regularly scanning the network for identities containing outdated information and may issue OutOfDate judgements when necessary. Please make sure your identity details remain accurate and up to date.

I built dotid.app to be beginner-friendly. The only requirement is a small amount of DOT (~0.5) on Asset Hub to start setting an on-chain identity and requesting a judgement. This amount covers the on-chain identity deposit and network fees. I do not charge any registrar fee.
