The Hosur–Omalur railway line doubling project has been sanctioned, but as of mid‑2026, physical work has not yet started. The project received approval and funding in 2024, with a formal “Notice to Proceed” issued in March 2026 @AshwiniVaishnaw

11013 and 11014 always run late and people forced to wait or cancel ticket. It's only train to Bangalore to coimbatore at night. Coaches are not clean . Everytime need to complain. Seriously need night train from Bangalore to Coimbatore @AshwiniVaishnaw @VanathiBJP @PiyushGoyal
