I disagree with this take on the basis that the World Cup is the ultimate tournament and teams will oftentimes give of their very best. Recall us in 1998? Many expected us to be embarrassed in every game, and we weren’t.
So unnu think Reggae Boys coulda do that???? Hmmm?? This is why Curaçao are in the World Cup and we are not. 🤷🏾‍♂️

The Aussie #13 (the left back) is really good. Highly intelligent and composed in and out of possession.

That was definitely against the run of play! Australia now 2-0 up!

Haiti held their own in that 1st half; unlucky to not have a goal of their own as yet.

(Edited) Adaejah Hodge comes back with vengeance in the 200m running a stunning 21.68s to set a new Collegiate Record in the process. She is now tied 8th all-time (with Melissa Jefferson-Wooden) on the women’s list. It’s also the fastest time now in 2026.

What an ordinary performance from the South American team.

That was a poor call by the ref; Vini was fouled by Hakimi on the edge of the box. Not a bad game at all; quite good for the neutrals like myself.
