This looks like a 6'9 Caris LeVert (except he'll be a 19 as a rookie, not 22)

i echo this sentiment from the goat JKM, my overwhelming AJ thought from the nova game was how poised and controlled he looked snakes, changes in speed, footwork mixups, this was the best i've ever seen dybantsa look with a ball screen, at least of the 25-30 games in my notes

Sean failed this offseason by not making sure this roster had real veteran leadership to show the young guys the ropes and set an example. Missing the vets that were on the early Marks-Atkinson rosters like Foye, Lin, Booker, and Carroll. Mann is the only one close to that
Jordi Fernandez: “I’m failing at trying to get my guys to play hard. I'm trying to ask questions. Ask them questions. How can I do it, to get them to play really hard?” #nets #nba

A coach saying this so early in the season is a huge red flag and isn't solved by simply playing the rookies (who have played an appropriate amount) more like it'll be a fix

With that being said, I'm still not looking forward to the Tyus Jones salary dump that'll be coming our way pretty soon as a course-correction

It's been a minute since we had real rookies the team has been really invested in, but people forget that as a rookie, JA didn't play 20 mins in a game until after Thanksgiving and didn't reach double figures in points until December or rebounds until January.

Being in a rebuild doesn't mean a coach should hand things to rookies on a silver platter in October. If Jordi runs a DHO offense, it's on Sean to get guys who can play in it. Clowney also just turned 21 – there should be plenty of runway for him to learn how to play a new way

And further on the rookie point, Caris as 22 year old rookie in 16-17 didn't reach 20 minutes until his 9th game and he didn't reach double figures until his 12th. The learning curve is steep regardless of age. I don't blame Jordi for not starting super raw rookies yet.

He might be passing ament already
6’10 Caleb Wilson showed some more encouraging flashes in his last exhibition vs Winston-Salem 23 points 10 rebounds 2 assists 3 blocks 1 steal 9-13 FG 0-2 3PT 5-5 FT Phenomenal athlete with very twitchy movements, can run the floor well, handle it and be an absolute force defensively. Easy matchup today, but has tools you can’t teach and he’s getting more comfortable offensively each night.

Alright flyer I guess. Definitely wouldn't pick up his year 4 option before he plays a game and I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't make it out of camp on the roster
The Atlanta Hawks are trading guard Kobe Bufkin to the Brooklyn Nets for cash considerations, sources tell ESPN. Bufkin was Atlanta's No. 15 pick in the 2023 NBA draft, and this now gives him a fresh opportunity in Brooklyn, and the Hawks some roster flexibility.

Egor Dëmin: "I think I might spend more time in the lifting room than on the court ... I'm super aware of myself and what I need to get better at. I'm living in the lifting room. I'm not getting upset because I know how much I'm putting into this. It's just a question of time."
