Absolutely bizarre for a social media site which depends entirely on network effects to be gatekept by invite codes. But anyway, I got one, so I'm over at the other place under @ olneyce. Probably won't use it much, but who knows.

My Swedish language book just let me know that "I don't know" means "no" in Swedish. And further says that "yes" can also mean "no" in Swedish depending on tone.
Twitter is an app where you follow someone because they have interesting takes about X but it turns out that 90% of their posts are about sports or comic book movies or Succession or whatever.

Had a wonderful time this week at the GOODINT conference on exclusion, integration, and democracy at UiT in Tromsø. Learned a lot from some truly brilliant folks and also got to enjoy the midnight sun. Highly recommend!
