#Suicide Mortality and #COVID19 - Social distancing requires physical space and not social distance. We can maintain relationships by telephone or video, especially among risky individuals. Social media solutions can be explored to facilitate these goals. jamanetwork.com/journals/jam…
The cure could be worse than the disease; economic damage, unemployment and poverty will have long-term mental (depression, suicide etc) and physical (delayed treatments, hospital closures etc) health effects on those who survive the coronavirus pandemic.
