What a way to end 2024, learn about Sodium MRI in Pediatric Brain Tumors ajnr.org/content/early/2024/… Here we present detailed imaging approaches to quantifying sodium concentrations in the pediatric brain that can be assessed in various CNS pathologies, with the focus of this paper on pediatric brain tumors. 🧂🧠 Tremendous work by the Bhatia Lab @BhatiaLab and collaborators Drs. Cassie Kline, Peter J Madsen, Michael J Fisher, Fernando E. Boada, Timothy P.L. Roberts Also big thanks to the Program in Advanced Imaging Research led by @TimRoberts_Phl @CHOP_Research @TheAJNR @theAJNR_EIC @CHOPRadiology

It is always rewarding to see past insights highlighted. 🧠 I'm looking back at my previous article on AI in pediatric neuroradiology alongside the freshly released "AJNR Pediatric Special Collection | American Journal of Neuroradiology.pdf". The latest list of papers reinforces where the horizons are heading. ajnr.org/content/early/2024/… ajnr.org/content/ajnr-pediat…

At 8 years old, our founder Alex Scott wanted to raise $1 million to give “her doctors” so they could find cures for kids fighting cancer, like her. Her determination inspired others to take their stand for the cause, and they helped her reach $1 million with lemonade stands before she passed away from her cancer in 2004. Every year since, supporters who hold lemonade stands during Lemonade Days continue to raise millions and much more! This June, become part of the movement making a difference for kids with cancer! Excited to share the new co-authored paper: "Generative AI for spatial tumor growth on MRI: a proof-of-principle study in pediatric diffuse midline glioma." 🧠💻 We explore how generative AI can model complex spatial tumor progression on MRIs, aiming to advance how we visualize and approach treatment for pediatric DMG. Huge thanks to the incredible team involved! Check out the full study here: rdcu.be/fkqLY #GenerativeAI #MedTwitter #CancerResearch #PedOnc #AI
