When you focus on your art and practice doors will open, opportunities arise out of nowhere, and most importantly say yes! The universe wants to support you when you are aligned.
If you feel like giving up, don’t! It takes years of patience and failures for everything to fall into place. You can not have anything going on for a while, then suddenly you are invited to exhibitions in 4 cities in the same week! Just be ready for when the opportunity presents itself.
When people want to support you, let them! Being an artist is hard, but very free and rewarding. We bleed our souls into the works we create, to hopefully connect deeper with the self and the world around us.
It’s been years plugging away, grinding, and trying to make an impact, even when there is no hope in sight. You continue! You don’t give up. You don’t give up on your self. Ever!
Just this week, I’m in an exhibition in Paris with @Danae__io, Lisbon with @EternoGallery, New York with @nguyenwahed, and in Kansas with @museumartlight!
Slowly, then all at once. Just keep fucking going. Even when no one is looking or caring. The artist must carry themselves forward. At the end of the day it’s for our healing, growth, and expression of love for this world in its beauty and cherishing this gift of life.

Thank you to everyone who came to the opening reception and celebrating with us. Since starting the art project April 8th, 2023 to exhibiting it June 9th, 2026. We traveled all the way around the world and back home again. Where the treasure were the people we met along the way, the lessons we learned, and the life we lived to become a better person on this Earth.

Sovrn & the artist's estate are dedicated to establishing Chang's work as canon, and it's well on its way.
It's been incredible to see the love for this project, the tools that the community has built for it, the extraordinarily rigorous cataloging by the Trait Council, the 6-month retrospective at China's leading contemporary arts institution, seeing Chang contextualized among the canon of systems artists in the press, witnessing people discover his work every day.
The process of forming the artist's estate as a legal entity is finally being settled, and we're working with them to bring the retrospective to Europe & the US, as well as finding museum placements for Chang's body of work. The reception so far has been amazing, and we're going full steam ahead.

Web3’s reputation problem comes from the massive information asymmetry that exists in this hybrid public-private market.
My goal is to foster an ecosystem where the community isn’t disadvantaged by insiders, whether that’s from biased disclosures or incomplete information. By adopting something akin to what Blockworks is doing for other tokens, we can create a system where new entrants can have a choice between companies that choose to act ethically and those that won’t publicly commit to transparency.
We trust public equities because we know there are compliance frameworks that level the playing field for participants. If we ever want to expand the audience and be taken seriously we should seriously consider implementing a framework that allows companies to build while also protecting the community.
If you care about web3 there’s zero reason why you would be against this. There’s no incentive or reason to police anyone, integrating a self-assessment transparency filing system would give participants enough information to decide which projects/companies they want to back or not.
This is about laying a sustainable foundation for the next decade and beyond.
