Love this ”How to help me” acronym as a way to support a loved one feeling low.
"You can’t 'fix' someone’s depression, but you also needn’t underestimate your potential positive impact through providing soft love and sturdy support on their journey," writes @SarahAGreenberg bit.ly/322DFcW

Yesss!!!
"Just because there are no fruits doesn't mean there are no roots" the #EndSARS protest did a lot more than we think! "And once there are roots, with the right care and in time the fruits will come "

Of what is left of today, it is okay if your main priority is to simply survive! It has all been so difficult & traumatic Do what you need to do to survive: -reach out to others (you are not a burden) -pray (find comfort in His presence) (1/2) #EndSARS #EndPoliceBrutality

-take a bath (cool down your body temperature) - go to bed early (shut off social media) -do some deep breathing (slow down your alert system) -remind yourself you are safe (your mind might be racing) - mourn/cry (it has been tough, let it out) #EndSARS #EndPoliceBrutality

It's been an overwhelming day for everyone, and just a bit too much for us to even handle on our own. Thankfully, the team @TheSADAG have offered to support us. Please do send them a DM tonight, and by tomorrow morning will be sharing numbers that they can be reached on.

We are collaborating with our partners @StandtoEndRape to coordinate long term mental health support for victims of police brutality and victims of violence related to the #EndSARS protests nationwide via @endsarsmhsupprt #EndSARSMHSupport
The negative impact of loss and trauma to our mental health is well established and we need not just time, but expert support to get through the difficult moments. We are a coalition working to provide support to the victims and families of victims of police brutality. #EndSARS
