"Just because there are no fruits doesn't mean there are no roots" the #EndSARS protest did a lot more than we think! "And once there are roots, with the right care and in time the fruits will come "
The recent events that have taken place in Nigeria have left most of us traumatised while also grieving. Here are some suggestions to help you through this difficult time. #EndSARS#LekkiMassacre2020#EndPoliceBrutalityinNigeria
Of what is left of today, it is okay if your main priority is to simply survive! It has all been so difficult & traumatic
Do what you need to do to survive:
-reach out to others (you are not a burden)
-pray (find comfort in His presence)
(1/2)
#EndSARS#EndPoliceBrutality
-take a bath (cool down your body temperature)
- go to bed early (shut off social media)
-do some deep breathing (slow down your alert system)
-remind yourself you are safe (your mind might be racing)
- mourn/cry (it has been tough, let it out)

We will never forget what happened today.
We mourn the lives of those we lost
and pray for their families.
Our government has failed us once again.
We deserve a better Nigeria!
God heal us and heal our land

It's been an overwhelming day for everyone, and just a bit too much for us to even handle on our own. Thankfully, the team @TheSADAG have offered to support us.
Please do send them a DM tonight, and by tomorrow morning will be sharing numbers that they can be reached on.
For everyone invested in change for Nigeria, thank you for all you are doing. This moment is truly uplifting but can also take a toll psychologically. Here are some suggestions to help take care of your mental health 1/2 #EndSARS#EndSarsNow
We are collaborating with our partners @StandtoEndRape to coordinate long term mental health support for victims of police brutality and victims of violence related to the #EndSARS protests nationwide via @endsarsmhsupprt#EndSARSMHSupport
The negative impact of loss and trauma to our mental health is well established and we need not just time, but expert support to get through the difficult moments.
We are a coalition working to provide support to the victims and families of victims of police brutality. #EndSARS
