I hit 50,000 words for the 3rd year in a row! (And it only took me 13 tries) 3 years, 2 finished novels, and one that hit 50,000 words but needs another 25000. This year's first draft is finished! I just need to do a little bit of editing before I can put it to bed for a while.

It was great for 2 years, tolerable for the next 2, and miserable for the 5th. Which is why I only get on once a day to check my notifications.

I wish I knew who was visiting my website almost daily from Ashburn, Virginia. Do they like my music and just can't decide on which piece to purchase? Is my website giving them trouble? Are they a bot? Is it a VPN?

I need to start taking the same approach to tv shows that I do for books.
I quit reading so many books last year because they just didn’t interest me, yet I keep watching crappy tv shows that I’m only continuing to watch because “I started watching them”.

I think I’m finally making progress on my book of 4-mallet solos for the developing percussionist! 3 solos are done and I’m feeling optimistic about making a lot of progress on the 4th one today!

I was about 7 minutes away from losing the entirety of the piece I’ve been engraving on Sibelius all morning.
I realized I hadn’t saved since I started working so I did just that.
7 minutes later Sibelius crashed.
Luckily all I lost this time was some title page formatting.

I just found 4 pieces of music I wrote in February that I had completely forgotten about in all of my “compose 32 pieces in March” stress.
I tweaked one and plan to tweak some more tomorrow.
Maybe I don’t suck at this whole music thing.
