Yesterday I drove my new car home; today I secured a £116,000 profit. A reminder that focus, patience, and consistency truly pay off when you trust the process. Grateful to my coach @gianna_crypto_ for the guidance none of this was accidental. 📈

I don't usually post stuff like this, but it's only fair to give credit to my coach. Yesterday I made a withdrawal from my crypto profits, and today I was able to purchase a car quite remarkable. Grateful for the progress, thanks to @gianna_crypto_ for the guidance. Hit her up❤️

1/3 Fulham had success yesterday on Match of the Day! No, not that we set a record for being the last match on. I wouldn’t be surprised if we already set that record a few seasons ago🤣 Harry Wilson won Goal of the Season for his goal in the 1-2 v Palace at the Cottage.

2/3 The public voted for their top three goals: Harry Wilson and Harrison Reed made the final 3. Shearer & Rooney then chose the winner and opted for Harry Wilson. I think it’s the second time a Fulham player has won BBC’s Goal of the Season, following Alan Mullery v Leicester

3/3 in FACup 4th round in 1973/74 when we drew 1-1 at the Cottage. I seem to remember, Rodney Marsh also won ITV Big Match’s golden goal of the season in 1976/77 for one of the two he scored when we won 2-0 v Luton at Kenilworth Road in Div 2. @FulhamishPod @FulhamFC

I have no sympathy for Southampton F.C.. But if only such urgency were shown in punishing the real cheats of English football: Manchester City F.C. and Walham Green, AKA Chelsea F.C..

My column in @thetimes today. No-one should raise their hopes of coordinated policy action from this June’s G7 Summit in France. If countries are going to act it will be for domestic reasons.

My column in @thetimes today. Global imbalances are the central theme of the G7 Summit in Évian-les-Bains this June. Under the French presidency, the aim is to restore the G7 to its original purpose as a forum addressing major economic challenges.

My recent column on CapX… If we were to bring UK income taxes closer into line with those in Europe’s major economies, it would cost the average taxpayer £1,015 per year. READ MORE capx.co/the-last-thing-brita…

Some more charts🤓 The NBER paper's claim that Brexit has already shrunk the economy by 8% is based on comparing the UK's performance with that of various "control groups". This country has indeed fallen about 8% behind the EU average since 2016. This country is Germany... 🧵

There is little doubt that Nigel Lawson was one of our great Chancellors, full of reforming zeal. He will be remembered for tax simplification and lower taxes, alongside strong public finances. Proactive leadership also meant shaping the intellectual terms of debate rather than following the accepted consensus. Unfortunately, Lawson is also in a group of four post-war Chancellors who presided over a boom and bust – and there are lessons to note for future policy. ✍️@DrGerardLyons Read more: capx.co/the-lawson-boom-hold…

In the early 2000s, UK electricity prices were among the lowest in Europe. Now they are among the highest, and far above levels in the US. This is adding to costs across the economy, undermining competitiveness and hitting key energy-intensive sectors hard. The challenge is not whether to pursue the green transition, but how to do so in a way that delivers energy security while ensuring that the transition supports economic growth. The UK risks getting that balance wrong. ✍️@DrGerardLyons

IMF per capita 2025 in $ — currency moves can impact comparisons & some economists prefer PPP — but these figures give a rough comparison of countries you cited : Switzerland $118k, Singapore 99k, USA $93k, Australia $69k, Germany $64k, UK $60k. But France is $52k
Half of British voters now think we are as rich or richer than Australia, Singapore, Germany, Switzerland and the US. These spectacular levels of delusion have real world effects. They make people think we can afford ever-growing public expenditure and "freebies".

Range of finishes could be 7th to 14th. More realistically 11th to 14th. We won’t qualify for Europe or could cope. Need to play best 11 v Brentford: Not Bobb or Berge & stop playing Iwobi out of position: Leno, Teté, Diop, Bassey Sess, Lukic, Iwobi, ESR, Wilson, Raul, Chukwueze
There are many who have ruled out European qualification and I completely understand why with current form and performances…BUT we’re only three points off Re. Brentford (huge game) I’d say… Win = Europe is very possible Draw = Europe is improbable Lose = Europe is impossible

I like your analysis. I think he will go for this but based on recent games with Bobb & King and I wouldn’t be surprised if he starts Muniz.
Replying to @CottageTactico
OPTION 2: Solidify without structural changes This has moved about at times this season. But a simple decision to keep Berge right and Iwobi left OOP may offer more cover Similarly would our more defensive LB in Jedi locking down Salah give more confidence across the back 4? 🔒

Britain has been badly exposed by this war. My column in the ⁦@TeleBusiness⁩ today outlines the lessons, including spending more on defence and fixing energy policy without abandoning the green agenda. Britain has avoided the hard reforms needed at home.👇

On this day in 1992 was the UK General Election. As I argued in my column in The Times before the election … Devaluation was on the agenda whoever won… drgerardlyons.com/wp-content…

On this day 1975, the goal that got us to our only FACup Final. 10 seconds from the end of extra time in the replay. Thoughts were already turning to the planned second replay at Highbury the following Monday. What a goal! youtu.be/Md5X_0MSkrc youtu.be/Md5X_0MSkrc
