Make no mistake, this selective interpretation and application of the law in favour of governing powers and the establishment is deeply sinister. This specific situation really isn't the matter of concern. It is merely indicative of a fundamental decay of justice and democracy.

Goodbye Mr McKenzie/ @callumeaster gig at @TheBarrowlands tomorrow night cancelled due to rising covid rates. Fair enough, and the correct decision, on balance. Was looking forward to it, but so it goes. Hopefully it will be rescheduled when the world is less monochrome.

PCR test this morning. Feeling increasingly shady over the weekend. Negative LFTs, but not taking chances. I called in to walk-thru centre in Dumbarton, scanned barcode, completed online form, and they tested there and then. Quick and efficient. Result within 24 hours, hopefully.
