Let me take you back for a sec. This cover design was made during lockdown, back when I was posting on IG, building my brand. Unfortunately i stopped. But today I’m back with a plan, with clarity. One of many designs that’s been sitting in the drawer.

Before the AI boom, we did it all by hand. This was a Russ project, a big celebration in Norway where students mark the end of school. We crafted the full identity: logo, visuals, motion. No shortcuts. Just design, detail, and a lot of love. Still one of my favorite projects.

I’ve started enjoying adding just a bit of texture behind my layouts. It keeps things clean, but takes the flatness out. Still simple. Just feels more alive. Not everything needs a gradient. Sometimes a quiet detail is enough.
