As we approach the NHS 75th anniversary, here's your reminder that 10 years ago, it was ranked the #1 healthcare system on Earth. You don't need a new system. You need a new govt that won't intentionally destroy it for their own financial benefit.

Today it has been reported that during our first round of action in England mortality rate was 11.1% above the 5 year average.
What they haven’t reported was that in Wales, where no strike action took place, mortality rate was 14% above the 5 year average. 1/3

Accidentally crossed the picket and spent some time on the other side today. Everyone on AMRA @nottmhospitals was amazing. Thankfully home now - just slightly more irradiated than before 😂

When people ask what a collapse of the NHS would look like, it's this, it's already here.
It's not going to be bricked up hospitals and no one answering 999, it's going to be lowering standards and rationing care. Acknowledging we can no longer help everyone who calls.
