I bought an artificial plant at @BandQ at the weekend. Was just wiping dust off the leaves and found this buried within 😮 Definitely NOT an artificial bug... But dead at least... The plant was made in China so I guess the bug came from there too!

We've had continuous sub-zero temperatures in #Edinburgh for the last 4 days. Things are getting pretty icy! #RossFountain #PrincesStreetGardens #EdinburghCastle

Queen #ElizabethII's hearse, followed by #PrincessAnne in the royal limousine, pass a suitably sombre #EdinburghCastle this afternoon as they approach their destination of #Holyroodhouse

A beautiful dusk view from my office today. For a brief moment #SalisburyCrags, #ArthursSeat and the spire of St Peter's turned bright red. #Edinburgh #sunset

I just racked up my 1000th ride on @cyclehire_edi today! Too bad that @SercoGroup is withdrawing from the scheme next month because of all the vandalism of the bikes and stands 😕 Fingers crossed some other brave company steps in to keep the scheme going 🤞

Hi @LaidBackBikes! I just saw this article on the history of recumbent bikes (which is taken from the new book "Bicycle Design: An Illustrated History" by Tony Hadland and Hans-Erhard Lessing). Thought it might be of interest! thereader.mitpress.mit.edu/a…

There's a GoFundMe fundraiser to support a new Queer Cafe in Edinburgh - as it happens, just around the corner from me :-) Donations can be made at gf.me/u/yfxz2z

I started paying regular donations to @guardian to support them. Welcome email promises ad-free experience (an unexpected bonus) so puzzled to still see ads all over their website. On querying this I'm told "ad-free" refers to "Guardian-specific ads" but not "3rd-party ads". WTF?

Surprised to see a young fox sunbathing in our back garden in Viewforth, Edinburgh this morning. It's the first time I've seen a fox in our garden in the 20 years that I've lived here #lockdownwildlife
