My vocational degree taught me: finance & accounting, marketing & comms, HR & team leadership, logistics & process management, employment law, contract law, tort law, etc
All very useful in running a government dept.

My sister has paid over 50k in rent on the same flat for 7 years. She's never paid late, she's always by direct debit.
Her bank question her ability to repay a mortgage that is £300 pcm less than the rent they've seen her pay.
Banking is just organised crime really isn't it? 🙄
