This is a great chance to pick up Dorico for a steal – especially if you're a student or a teacher, as single-user edu licenses are included in this promo. Also, if you're a Sibelius user and have been thinking about adding Dorico to your toolbox, now's a good time!

Another new Dorico update out of the door to start the new year. Lots to look forward to from us in the year ahead, including another big update to the new Score Editor in Cubase coming soon, and of course a major new version of Dorico itself. Stay tuned!

I recently had the pleasure of being interviewed by Tony Plog and Eddie Ludema for their podcast. Part 1 is available now. They asked me about how my early life led me into the field of music notation software. If you're interested, give it a listen! anthonyplog.com/podcasts/dan…

In case anybody is interested in hearing even more from me, part 2 of this interview is now available on Tony's web site. We talk about our early days at Steinberg, the challenges of designing Dorico, what a typical working day is like for me, and more: anthonyplog.com/podcasts/dan…

We wanted to take a moment to celebrate some of the unique and powerful things we've built into Dorico. It's easy to overlook things when they're not brand new, and some of these features have been there for years. We also could easily have chosen 50 unique features!

Free concert tonight at St. Nicholas’ Church, Great Wilbraham. If the tension of England’s quarter-final against France is too much for you, come and hear some beautiful seasonal choral music instead. Refreshments will be served! Works by Victoria, Lauridsen, Howells more!

Proud of and grateful for @lilliepharris. She's put a huge amount of work into using examples from women composers in the Dorico Operation Manual. There are now more than 100 of them! Check out this blog post – some beautiful works to discover here.

My colleagues have outdone themselves on this one. Please check out the videos to see these new improvements in action (beautiful work as always from @anthughes). Dorico is much more than for making beautiful scores – this release really helps you use Dorico to *compose*.

It's been a long road to bring this update to everybody, but we're nearly there now. So excited to share all the goodies. It's a great time to take another look at @doricoofficial as we've really honed the workflows in the Key Editor over the past several months. #ComingSoon

Here's a sneak peek at some of the powerful changes coming to @doricoofficial's Key Editor in our next (free) update. Show multiple editors – velocity, MIDI CC, tempo, etc. – at the same time, sized how you like. And this is just the tip of the iceberg. More soon!

Another fab update (the seventh since January!) from our fantastic team. Using the new percussion editor is genuinely great fun – and the changes to linked mode and copying/pasting MIDI CC data with notes is really useful. More good things in the pipeline, too...

Such fun meeting composer Lillie Harris earlier today to chat about her latest works — and she even found time for a Dorico geek-out session with our in-house Music Editor Jeremy Aknai.🤓🎼 #NewMusic #Sheetmusic
