Trying out @redwoodjs for a small project and so far I have been blown away. So many tedious things are done for you. Already have several pages set up with CRUD and Auth0 all with the command line in record time. Now I can focus on the fun parts.

Amid America's #COVID19 disaster, I must come clean about a lie I spread as a health insurance exec: We spent big $$ to push the idea that Canada's single-payer system was awful & the U.S. system much better. It was a lie & the nations' COVID responses prove it. The truth: (1/6)

Thank you to the many people who approached me over the past hour about @js_tut and his recent behavior. It is unacceptable. He does not represent the developer community. I have removed all 33 of his articles from freeCodeCamp's publication and revoked his author permissions.

@drboolean's Professor Frisby's Mostly Adequate Guide to Functional Programming has leveled up my Javascript skills in such a short time. There are some sentences that have had a profound effect on how I think about code. #javascript /1

/2 This code example specifically blew me away. It is more reusable, testable, and having all the requirements coming in as arguments keeps the function honest about what it is up to. I cannot wait to learn more.

TIL that a Set was a thing in JavaScript. It only accepts unique values, so it will automatically filter out all duplicates in an iterable object like an array. There are so many ways to do the same thing, and that is awesome.
