ALT CW: death, suicide With profound grief, we’re sorry to share that Rowan Rowden has died by suicide. Rowan co-founded Dual Wield Studio and acted as our CEO, but she was far more than that to all of us. Rowan was an inspiration, a catalyst for change, and a dear friend. Their memory shall be one we do our best to hold close and honor as we carry on. Our team has taken some time to grieve, which is something we recognize will be ongoing and far-reaching. As we continue to be gentle with ourselves and our grief, we hope you can take the time and space to seek and accept support for what you need. ALT With profound grief, I’m so sorry to share that Rowan Rowden has died by suicide. She left detailed notes and entrustments that are being honored with ongoing arrangements. I ( Zara Varin ) am acting according to Rowan’s wishes as outlined in her notes, will, and legal estate plan, wherein Rowan appointed me as the primary contact for all matters. In the interim as further arrangements are being made, please know her cats - Gabe and Mjolnir - are being cared for and are both okay. The greatest help I can ask of you is to support yourself, and to reach out and accept help if you need it. Please. I will share any updates on arrangements or other news in this space. - Zara Varin
