It’s a #wrap! The top drawer shows a random shiny collection of #CPUs visible always through the glass top. This is followed by 6 further drawers carrying #2 Intel, #3 Cyrix/IBM/TI, #4 Motorola, #5 AMD, #6 various ICs, #7 Intel Server CPUs. Now I have space again! 2/2
It’s a wrap! Late November I started a new project with the aim to rearrange my large #CPU collection. I set up a cupboard with several drawers to now display the #CPU collection #horizontally. I still use my wooden cases for vertically exhibiting some chips. 1/2

I still think about and play most of them! This is a tough question. Probably a mix of Doom/Quake 2/UT. I'll leave out Final Fantasy since you said computer.
If I had to choose one though, Quake 2 it is ❤️
I'm so bummed and 💔
Unfortunately I'm not going to make it to #vcfsw this weekend. The date change conflicted with too many other family related events.
I will do my best to attend another VCF event and will keep everyone posted! I hope to be back at @vcfsouthwest next year, as a sponsor too, if they'll have me 😊
I had such a blast at VCFSW 2025 and I'm sure this year is even better!

It’s the #Enterprise!
Star Trek’s most famous 🚀, the U.S.S. Enterprise is hovering over the Ambient Light Sensor (ALS) of the iPhone 6S. The TM2586C made by ams-OSRAM, measures the brightness of the environment and feeds this back to the device to adjust screen brightness.🔆

50 years #Apple!!
Episode 3: Apple iPhone teardown
As a #Silicondoodle and #easteregg hunter, mobile phones are an interesting category, as I already had found doodles on mobile phones made by Nokia, Siemens, and Philips.
Congratulations to #Apple celebrating its 50 year #anniversary on this day, April 1st 2026.
Over the coming days, I have prepared some footage about the computers displayed on below AI picture. Stay tuned!
When a photon creates an electron-hole pair in the silicon, those carriers must reach the p-n junction depletion region before they recombine and are lost. By spacing the electrodes closely most carriers reach a collection contact within their diffusion length of 5-20 micron.
All this is real hightech that #StarTrek people can rehearse being woken up in the middle of the night - This is my only explanation for placing the U.S.S. Enterprise as a doodle on the ALS!
