Players/Coaches, we never know when itโs our time. Everyday is an interview, i was once told. Whatever plan or formula we have must be genuine, to ourselves and others. The fake stuff, the agendas, betrayals, will always catch up to us. Winning is hard, stay true๐๐พ

I was talking to some coaches about players, โIs He A Guyโ? Trying to differentiate if some players like football, love football, or play because they are good at football. I read this, being addicted to results is an important trait to have. To be a guy, this matters ๐๐พ

Respect
In all my years, i believe we have to acknowledge this, are we respected by our players? There are different types of respect, respect the coach as a person, and respect the coaching. In a perfect world, we would like to accomplish both. Be real, work at coaching ๐๐พ

All my years of coaching, I have paid attention to this, โThe Rabbits Footโ. What it means is this, the universe has touched them. Detroit Lions, Keith Abney is that guy. I have been around this kid for three years, i am a believer. He will figure it out. So happy for him ๐๐พ

One thing to pay attention to at these schools are the support staffs. ASU has done a great job identifying good young coaches. Congrats to Max Silver, another one with a bright future. Max is on his way to NAU, Linebackers Coach. Well deserved, itโs your time ๐๐พ
