I have been able to do it. I built a small Chrome extension that reads the DOM for what I'm currently playing and sends the result to a small backend I wrote. Android exposes NotificationListenerService and MediaSessionManager API, so I created a small app using Kotlin to listen for media events and send to the endpoint. Everything worked out nicely.
