Replying to @Tangem
What makes this unacceptable isn’t the bug—it’s the lack of urgency. Tangem had over a month, full documentation, videos, and rapid responses from me. Nothing meaningful changed. When a wallet provider can’t restore access or escalate critical failures, that crosses from inconvenience into financial harm.

I can no longer support or recommend @Tangem I’ve been locked out of one of my primary wallets for over a month, despite doing everything right.

I never thought it would be 5 months and no resolution. @Tangem this truly embarrassing, all you have to is provide support for one wallet and follow through on your word. You have done neither.

5 months and no access, communication or anything a professional company would do, it’s intriguingly embarrassing as you seemingly have plenty of time for everything else aside from support.

No DM from @Tangem or contact via email. I still use my ring, but your support is terrible. Instead of posting about college kids, fix your current customers’ issues. This is unprecedented, unprofessional service. Don’t DM me, email dylanburkey@protonmail.com via your support email - five months and still no access to a cold storage wallet I trusted your company to secure my assets and I can’t even access them because of cheap materials when you launched. This would never happen with any other cold wallet.

This should be resolved via email as it was adamant we do commucate only through that adress. It sill doesn't answer the question why I still do not have access to my wallet after four months. I was told a box was coming, it never arrived. No follow up from support. SMH..

Great news! Rise3, a Web3 social works project, is now live. Sadly, Ohio’s addiction rates are climbing, now ranking fourth highest. Finding the right care is proving more challenging than ever, with a staggering 91% of addicts receiving no treatment. An incentive-based recovery program with the potential to make a big impact. Happy to see interest already, and 0 people have died so far. Check back to see how many Ohioans lost their lives. rise3.org

One death already. That took less than a second.

116 days, 4 hours until the World Cup. Curious to see what @dgbet has cooking. I’ve been testing several sports analytics APIs (subscribing to a few already). Open to recommendations for additional data sources. Let’s see if the data edge pays off.

``` Web3 Ready (No, You Don't Need Next.js) The myth: You need Next.js for Web3 development. The reality: Web3 libraries are just JavaScript. They don't care what framework you use. Why the myth exists: • Most Web3 tutorials default to Next.js (author familiarity, not requirement) • Starter kits like RainbowKit and scaffold-eth ship Next.js examples first • Cargo culting: "Uniswap uses Next.js, so I should too" What Web3 apps actually do: • Connect a wallet → JS SDK call • Read from blockchain → RPC fetch • Write to blockchain → Sign send transaction • Display data → Any framework None of this requires Next.js. Web3 libraries work everywhere: • ethers.js → vanilla JS • viem → vanilla JS • web3.js → vanilla JS • WalletConnect → framework-agnostic • wagmi → React hooks (works in Astro islands) • RainbowKit → React (works in Astro islands) Mint page with Next.js: 150 KB Mint page with Astro: ~5 KB Use Astro with React islands. Get the React ecosystem without shipping 150 KB to every page.
This has been a very interesting topic for me, now after working with multiple teams and seeing the lack of Next.js support due to terrible load times, bugs, and legacy tech. @sveltejs and @astrodotbuild are going to be seeing a big bump in Web3 development use.
I have a great example of an Astro build running @privy_io - zero issues. Will be making some changes to provide an open example, blows the Next.js build using a less secure over engineered solution out of the water. Excited to share. Very slick
@Tangem - this is getting crazy. Where is my box to return the cards I was promised two weeks ago? This is a wallet I use and want access to. Support has been dead silent. Three months and no solution, not acceptable.
Leveraged custom orchestrated AI for parts of the development. Using my "Claude Sidekick" still in development, EARS made a huge difference.
Now almost three months and no progress. The package to return my cards never came. A user without access to one of many key very important wallets still without acess.
New rule, when not home, don’t run code feedback color automation. Fun Friday
The ⁦@Ledger⁩ Flex is really stepping up as worthy wallet during the 1.5 months pleading with @Tangem⁩ for actual support. I finally received a support email with a potential resolution. My secondary Tangem wallet with the ring is benched until my OG wallet is restored.
I used to recommend Tangem to everyone. Now I’m saying: avoid it until their support team is rebuilt and responsive.
