I'm no relationship expert, let's get that out the way first. But here's something that genuinely works when things have gone a bit cold. Pick whoever winds you up the most, then flip it. Instead of asking what's wrong with them, ask what you've not been acknowledging in them. Then just say it out loud. "I saw what you did today, cheers for that." Drop that mental scoreboard we all keep of everything we do for people. Stop needing the credit and watch them soften almost straight away. Nagging is just someone who doesn't feel seen. Sort that and it stops

I 100% agree. My first number was thinking that $10,000 a month would make everything better. Of course it removed a lot of stress. I remember waking up the next day after striving to achieve the goal and finally having it and I still felt the same. Then I decided oh it must be 20k. Then 30k. Money is very important. Purpose is very important. Good people around you is very important. Health is very important.

I made millions of dollars and now I’m miserable. Yeah nobody believes that’s psyop. Get rich. Have a purpose. And…
I see all these posts about people selling their company for millions and then becoming depressed. If it’s so bad being rich, why do you NEVER see someone give away all their money and go back to struggling financially? Don’t let these bullshit stories fool you into thinking that you shouldn’t strive to be financially well off.

I wanna experience the USA cultural dominance of the 80's. Where you were either on Team America or basically a boot licking communist. Heck I'm gonna go eat a cheese burger, wear some bluejeans, and then go shoot some guns. while chanting...USA! USA! USA! Cry more losers.
Dana White’s reaction watching the flyover is absolutely priceless

7 days a week. 10 years. 7 years abroad living off my skills. Thousands of students. Don’t be impressed by the people who have a couple solid months. Unstable friendships and love life. Instead… Admire those who consistently are there year after year.
in the modern era consistency is likely the only thing that can’t be faked. you can fake intensity, fake competence for a sprint, or even fake a single brilliant output. esp with ai. but consistency is still integral over time. it’s the one signal that requires actually being the thing rather than performing it for an audience. this applies to art, science, & relationships.

i think about this whenever i catch myself hesitating on the next move. Elon Musk walked into the Netscape lobby to apply for a job. too shy to talk to anyone. walked out. never got it. got demoted twice at his first company. fired from PayPal mid flight to his own honeymoon. first three rockets exploded back to back. Tesla almost died on Christmas Eve. his childhood heroes testified against him to Congress. 30 years of public failure from a guy who is now the richest man in human history. i’ve built businesses across 27 countries. sat across from 9 figure operators. run two campuses inside the biggest educational platform in the world. and i still catch myself overthinking the next bet. the hesitation doesn’t go away at the next level. Tbh it can get more expensive. the deal you didn’t propose. the product you didn’t launch. the partnership you turned down. the event you keep pushing to next quarter. every level has its own version of walking into the Netscape lobby and being too shy to open your mouth. the difference between the guys who plateau and the guys who keep climbing is the same difference at every level. one moves before he’s ready. the other is still waiting for the fear to go away. it never goes away. move anyway.

Victim minded people have the loudest opinions but it’s just noise. Like a mosquito on a summer day.
I am 52 years old. I have been working since I was 15 years old. I have no savings, no retirement, and will never own a home before I die. And there is now a trillionaire.

Place all of the mental energy and money into your home, businesses, investments, and family. The couple times a year you go on vacation, even if it’s to the same place…stay in the best rental or hotel. Money aside. Vacation homes aren’t worth their mental energy.
Almost all of my clients who invested in a vacation home regretted it You simply do not end up using it as much as you think (most go there 6 times a year) And you have to pay maintenance and other costs all year round If you want to go somewhere once a month or less, just stay at a good hotel It's cheaper, more fun, and has room service

Going on 3 hours of sleep right now as I type this. TBH that little sleep is dumb. 6 to 9 hours depending on who you are. Required. I know this. But I literally couldn’t go back to sleep. Too excited to sleep again. Anyway. What happened in my world this week... One of my students just hit his first $10K revenue month (rev not profit, he's got 2 staff). Some of my relatives had their first child. Had a fantastic supra with my family last night. And pulled the trigger on a 4 wheel drive for some summer adventures. Good week personally. Now sure. Quite a few bad things happened in the world this week too. They always do. But new businesses launched. Babies were born. People hit milestones. Good dinners happened around good tables with good people. The good always outweighs the bad. The world is just setup to show you the worst and most extremes. Feels like everything these days is designed to make you feel like the whole world’s ending. Economy’s crashing. Everything’s getting worse. Meanwhile you can just choose the type of life you want. Not in some mystical sense. From what you actually pay attention to. Your attention is valuable. Treat it like it. Let's generate some positive energy. Reply and tell me 1 positive thing about your week. Can be a single sentence or an entire book. I genuinely want to know. Talk soon. Always the best, Dylan Madden

Life hack: have good manners and treat everybody with respect
Never disrespect people for no reason. You have no idea who someone will become over 5-10 years. Or who someone knows. Example: a reader of mine looked like a nobody. But I took the time to speak with them. Turned out connecting me with the Kanye West team (his cousin)

Nobody wants guilt driven “oh woe am I” content. We want strength. Purpose. Victory.
I am a Christian and very open about that. After watching 15 minutes of George Janko with Alex Hormozi I had to turn it off. This over shameful, guilt driven, and emotional version of Christianity pushed on people is what keeps most away from Christ. What you think?
