Terrible film, but the footage of the Ickx/Oliver crash in Spain is impressive. They also shot the aftermath of Piers Courage’s fatal accident at Zandvoort and worked it into the plot… Ferrari driver turned glamour photographer Giancarlo Baghetti served as technical consultant.
Obscure YT of the day: Who needs Steve McQueen when u got Edwige Fenech (STRANGE VICE OF MRS WARDH) in LE MANS, SHORTCUT TO HELL (1970)! Lang Jeffries (DON'T KNOCK THE TWIST) is the driver! the 1970 real life accident of Jacky Ickx was caught on film & used! Link in reply:

Someone, somewhere seems to be scanning all of ITVs transparencies (I went to the archive in 2006 and there were thousands in folders untouched). Anyway, here are some that have just appeared to sum up that Thursday mood from The Power Game.

Very cool image of Clint Eastwood apparently doing some second-unit camera work on COOGAN'S BLUFF.

Okay, Western fans, if you don't know of Bob Terry yet, you need to. His Youtube channel has a great bunch of rare Westerns & TV Westerns, and he's at the forefront of locating these and restoring them. He has the James Drury pilot, The Yank, link here: youtube.com/watch?v=DHZTZSLd…

Directed by Richard Lester. Strangely there are no crew credits for this episode on IMDb.

Found an incredible box of slides at a car boot sale recently, it included 36 1968/69 photos by a Production Designer on Z-Cars. A lot are of empty sets, but some feature guest actors and I’m hoping somebody can help identify them and therefore the episodes… @TalkingPicsTV

@ConfessionsPete I’m afraid the closest I’ve got to Robin Askwith are these two youths breaking into a Chemist…

Another from June ‘68 and another actress I can’t place. Interesting to see the b/w backdrop through the window.

This one was also processed in June 1968, so perhaps it’s Softly Softly as well. I recognise the face, but can’t think of the name…

The slide is marked Z-Cars, but that’s the back of Frank Windsor’s head and according to IMDb he never appeared in the ‘67 reboot, so this must be an episode of Softly Softly. Does anyone recognise the actress?
