Some women today openly joke about mutilating baby boys and the crowd laughs.
She said her mother wanted to cut off her brother's private parts when he was born. She cried because it couldn't happen. Now she says that when she has a son, she'll fulfil that "dream."
Imagine a man saying he can't wait to hurt his future daughter because his father once wanted to. He would be destroyed publicly, lose his career, and rightly so.
But when hatred towards men is packaged as feminism, even violence against male babies becomes "dark humour" and "empowerment."
So what exactly are we celebrating here? Equality? Or a culture where cruelty against boys is entertainment?
Apparently, talking about harming male children is comedy. But make a joke about consensual adult relationships and suddenly the outrage brigade wants your head.
The issue isn't comedy. The issue is selective morality. If your principles change based on the victim's gender, they were never principles to begin with.
