The most misused and misunderstood statistic used on X is per capita.
Assume all crime is by age 20-29.
Compare groups.
1 has 70m people aged 1-70, evenly distributed 10% rate. Per capita crime 0.0143.
The other group has 1m with half aged 20-29. 5% rate. Per capita 0.025.

Really? I claimed cashback on £400 and the receipt is for £406.95 of which £6.95 is delivery.
