This morning, Hon. @JustineLumumba , Minister of ICT & NG , joined @PPDAUganda in celebrating its attainment of the ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification for Information Security Management. This achievement reinforces Uganda’s commitment to secure, trusted, and resilient digital governance, while supporting the transition to electronic Government Procurement (@eGPUganda ) and strengthening the safeguarding of public data. In her speech, she noted: “As government services continue to move online, it is critical that institutions strengthen information security systems to safeguard citizen data, protect public systems, and build public trust in digital government.”

Beginning this new FY2026/27, all government entities will be enrolled on the newly rolled out eGP2.0, with hope that by the end of this new Financial Year all entities will be enrolled on the system. #KnowYourBudget26 #ProcurementThatWorks
