The 'F' stands for Findable! π
Keeping data FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable) ensures that it remains valuable and usable across different systems and users. Here are some tips to ensure your data is findable!
β Use Persistent Identifiers (PIDs): Assign unique DOIs, handles, or UUIDs to datasets.
β Rich Metadata: Describe data with structured, standardized metadata for easy discovery.
β Indexing & Cataloging: Store data in searchable repositories with proper indexing.
β Consistent Naming Conventions: Use clear and descriptive file names and folder structures.
