Next we're getting a talk from EarthSequencing. Funded by @ERC_Research . Their work has been focused on paleoclimate and cycles.

Paleobiology Database has ~80k references, >1.5 million occurrences, >200k collections, 449k taxa, and so on!

Everything in PBDB links back to a reference, but contains a number of other context type data, like taxonomy, lithology, age, and so on.

Discussing now the different ways of different style of abundance counting (Presence/absence, binned, counts, relative abundance). Most data came from Pangaea, LIMS and Janus, Neptune, and then some "smaller sources".
