Long waits are horrible for patients and risky too.
Our new report, "The Longest Wait" reveals that older people are having to use bedpans in corridors, and can't access food or water while they wait.

If a pensioner is entitled to Pension Credit but does not claim it, then they will tend to have a low income. For this reason, the WFP change hits poorer families hardest: pensioners in the bottom 5th of the income distribution will lose 1.2% of their income on average.

📊 Some local authorities had as many as 4 in 10 children living in poverty.
🏠 Around 1/4 of adults were in poverty in the North East, London & West Midlands.
