Today, DG @PUmukunzi delivered a keynote address at the Inter-University Career Fair and Jobnet Conference hosted by @eaur_rw Rwanda under the theme, “Empowering the Next Generation through Teaching, Leadership, and Employability.” He urged students to look beyond degrees and prepare for a rapidly changing world shaped by technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship. He emphasized the importance of adaptability, creativity, problem-solving, and leadership, encouraging students to bridge theory and practice through work-integrated learning, practical experience, and digital skills development. He also highlighted entrepreneurship as a pathway to opportunity and impact. “The future is not something you wait for it is something you build,” he concluded, calling on young people to shape Rwanda’s future through innovation, skills development, and lifelong learning.
