Why become a (math) teacher? So that years later, you can receive a note such as this from a former student who is about to graduate college and continue her educational journey in medical school. It is a joy to see people around us flourish.

Problem solving is one of the highest rated skills today. Edward B. Burger introduced five elements of effective thinking; which he said is slightly different to critical thinking in that it has broader coverage consisting of creativity, originality, engagement and empathy.
