Congratulations to our 2024 medicine laureate Victor Ambros ✨
This morning he celebrated the news of his prize with his colleague and wife Rosalind Lee, who was also the first author on the 1993 'Cell' paper cited by the Nobel Committee.

This was such a great event!
Physics is not separate from society, and it was great to see so many faculty, staff, students, and postdocs, take an hour out of their day solving the biggest questions in physics, to discuss wider societal issues and their impact on physics culture.

Today, the Women in Physics working group launched their first meeting of the EDI Journal Club.
The main themes of the discussion revolved around addressing the issue of mansplaining, its possible solutions, women empowerment and inclusivity in the workplace.
