A year ago I had a conversation with a friend who insisted that environmentalism was never going to be a focus issue for the poorest people in the Global North: they have other problems. But, as always in crises, the poorest & minorities are always the ones who struggle the most.

#COP26: GREENWASH ALERT!
The fossil fuel industry & banks caused are among the biggest climate villains. Now @Shell @BP & @StanChart are here in Glasgow trying to scale up offsetting & give polluters a free pass to keep polluting. Their plan could trash the 1,5°C goal.

3. As of now, the best part has been meeting my friends, my kin, my inspirations. For the récord, all of the real work, the work that is attempting to change the course of the climate crisis is happening outside of COP in basements amoungst the youth.
