🚨 Exciting Update! 🚨 Based on our performance in Oxford and earning a spot in the Gold Bracket, our EC Bullets were 1 of only 6 teams to earn a bid to the Alliance National Championships in Indianapolis! #LetsGo _______________________________ Highlights from Bombers Southeast Invite: Our Bullets competed in one of the premier events in the Southeast this weekend at the Bombers Southeast Invite in Oxford, MS. Throughout the tournament, we experienced some incredible wins, unforgettable moments, and a few innings we’d like to have back. We came out strong, winning 2 of our 3 pool play games, with our only loss coming on a walk-off. Our pitching staff was outstanding, our defense was lights out, and our offense delivered in key moments when we needed it most. When pool play concluded, our ladies had earned a spot in the Gold Bracket, advancing as one of the Top 16 teams out of more than 40 18U teams competing in the event. That’s an accomplishment these young ladies should be proud of. In bracket play, we ran into the eventual Gold Bracket finalist and we couldn’t quite find our rhythm and swagger. That’s part of the journey, and experiences like these are what help great teams continue to grow. Over the next few weeks, we’ll get back to work preparing for Atlanta Legacy. We’ll learn from this weekend, build on the positives, and continue developing into the team we know we can be. One thing we will continue to embrace: “Pressure is a Privilege.” The opportunities ahead are earned, not given.
