IMO, streaming in its infancy represented a way to reverse the greedy music biz, and all its practices- taking things back in the artists hands. Instead we let them do it all again, but even worse. I still believe there’s a way, but musicians and fans must unite behind a change

Musicians, when are we going to take the lessons of labor disputes/strikes in other fields and stand up to the abhorrent business practices of streaming services like Spotify? There has to be a better way. I’m very disheartened about Bandcamp, which was a beacon.
