I am super excited to be co-leading DRIVEN, our new interdisciplinary research centre which has as its mission to help individuals, communities and organisations make sustained changes in behaviours that will help them achieve valuable outcomes
Yesterday, we launched our new research centre. We represent a diverse group of researchers working on various health behaviours (PA, nutrition, etc), health & behavioural economics, health care, business, education, engineering, data analytics & AI, health informatics.

New paper: towards an empirical definition of VILPA (vigorous intermittent lifestyle physical activity):

During activities of daily living, VILPA elicited a physiological response (%V̇O2max & %HRmax) at 77-83 sec, and 45 sec for perceived exertion.
