"We're reinventing the wheel on browser agents." - 10 healthtech CEOs, May 2026 Their eng. teams spend months reverse-engineering payer portals and EHR flows... for something they never wanted to build. So we wrote a builder's atlas for teams shipping healthcare automation in production. Deep dive, healthcare interoperability with AI. Blog in the comments!!

The Empire State Building rose in 410 days, 4.5 stories/week. The world called it impossible. Then watched it rise. For 6 months I watched this team to build with the same speed. They built the scaffold so anyone can build higher now. Pun intended.:) 🚀 We are launching Asteroid 2.0 on Product Hunt today 🚀 It's the most advanced browser & computer-use platform out there. Our meta-agent Astro builds agents, writes scripts on the fly, and gets faster and cheaper with every run. If you want to experience an AGI moment, try it. Credits to the best engineers @davilocatelli13 @edasteroid @simulated_land @tomdiacono1999 ❤️ Link promo code in the comments. 👇

Dreams on Claude Managed Agents are exactly what our prod browser agents have been missing. Reliability in healthcare workflows is P0 for us @asteroid_inc. This will unlock a different tier of what we can ship Great day at Code w/ Claude SF. ty @AnthropicAI @ClaudeDevs @bcherny

Today, we’re launching Asteroid 2.0 Each agent now runs on its own machine with a filesystem, browser, and terminal. It writes and executes code at runtime, remembers what it learned between runs, and caches Playwright scripts so repeat runs get faster and more deterministic.
Browser agents were overhyped in 2025. But I think we've finally nailed it -- with a few tricks: - Coding agents all the way - Files as long-term memory - Domain expert supervision for edge cases You need all of it (and more) or you get disappointed again. 1/6..

Asteroid is hiring!! We're building for a world where agents outnumber humans at work. 3 roles at Asteroid (YC W25) -- Product, GTM, and Engineering. Our computer-use agents already run 1000s of workflows daily across healthcare, insurance, and finance. We can't keep up with demand. 🧵

We just shipped desktop automation at Asteroid. 🖥️ Our AI agents can now control full Windows and Linux desktops, not just browsers. Here's why this changes everything for healthcare 🧵

When we started Asteroid, I didn’t expect prior authorization to be one of the most meaningful problems we’d work on. For years, automation couldn’t handle the edge cases of complex healthcare flows. Now browser AI agents can. We wrote about how frontier AI agents can automate prior auth end-to-end. Link in the thread! If prior auth is what you do, we can help!

Introducing Radar, real-time collective intelligence for web agents 🧵 In our tests, agents that get a cache hit on Radar avoid the need for a browser entirely, dramatically improving agent performance Built & tested with @convex, @daytonaio and @superset_sh, @browser_use

After 3 frontend rebuilds, we found the obvious: Browser agents need tabs. Supervise 10 agents without losing context. Inspired by @posthog UI (big fans).

We shipped Astro → Cursor for browser agents in Dec 🚀 @davilocatelli13 just dropped incredible technical deep dive. If you’re building with LLMs or interested in agents, definitely worth a read. 👉 asteroid.ai/blog/astro-curso…

Browser agents used to be for engineers only. Not anymore. Astro from @asteroid_inc is an AI agent builder for the hardest legacy portals, letting anyone automate them in minutes. Proven in healthcare, insurance, and finance. Congrats on the launch, @MlcochDavid & @simulated_land! ycombinator.com/launches/OzN…

This is crazy. I pinged a few Asteroid users if they want to try Astro in Beta...the response has been crazy...this is going to be huge... building something people want, thanks @ycombinator @paulg for the tip.

Building browser agents takes too long. (And most other agents aren’t much better.) There’s still no tool that lets non-technical experts build complex, multistep browser agents. Prompts break. Edge cases explode. Teams get frustrated. People don’t want to build agents, they want to manage them like employees. Next week, that finally changes.

You add AI to your product. It works… kind of ... until it needs to do real work. Then the “annoying” customer asks:
