Google has an internal "let it break" essay about a hero engineer whose hard work ends up being a net negative (by masking the underlying issues). My manager sent me that essay when I was trying too hard to get the collective TensorFlow unit test suite green.

The org. running the South African Computer Olympiad made a financial decision to shut it down..
So we bought it from them¹.
The Olympiads will run as normal in 2026 (and hopefully, we will make 'em run even better going forward).
Registration for 2026 is Open (olympiad.org.za)

I heard that Clause can generate PowerPoint slides now, but when I tried it it claims it can't...
I've resorted to having Claude give me a python-pptx script instead to generate the pptx locally.
Anyone out there have success in getting a .pptx file directly out of Claude web?
