@joelklatt Clemson. What you missed. The returning players were crowned off potential. If you look back over the last 3 years, what game or games did those guys dominate. There is no Caleb Downs, no T Hunter , no Bain. They have popular names but they have never really produced.

The town of Clemson knew the high projections were over the top because they know they don’t have the talent they’ve had in the past. Eye test, Cuse receivers dominated Clemson’s secondary. That’s not being broken , that’s just not being good enough. Also Cuse’s receivers are..

from the portal. So Cuse has experienced hungry former 3-5 star receivers from Texas playing against 4-5 star underclass men dbs for Clemson. Those small details make a difference. I’m sure you will see that all over the rosters when you compare.
