Protecting animal health and welfare helps to build healthier communities, sustainable food systems, preserve biodiversity, and advance progress towards the @GlobalGoalsUN.
On the other hand, neglecting animal health and welfare, including through illegal wildlife trade, puts us all at risk of epidemics and pandemics from zoonotic spillovers.
