@MdSheryl Just finished your book. Thanks for emotionally delving into your past to share with us. You are a good writer. Crazy that no one asked why you were running away. Just retired from 42 yrs teaching mostly 12-14 yr olds. I have thanked my parents often for raising me.

Middle school students went to choosemyplate.gov, entered their age, gender, weight, height, and exercise level to find out how many calories they need as well as how much from each food group they need each day.

Edgewood Middle School FACS students practiced their kitchen skills and cooked play dough. Today, we played with it to determine how play dough helps children grow in the PIES areas of physical, intellectual, emotional and social. Learning while playing!

On the way to my son’s first day of kindergarten, he asks:
“Daddy, will Jesus play with me in Heaven?”
“Oh, definitely.”
My son replies, “I bet he’ll win every time we play the wrestling game.”
