Experiencing Elia Kazan's On the Waterfront for the first time straight on the big screen was absolutely surreal! I put together some thoughts on why this cinematic masterpiece continues to endure and resonate so deeply. boxd.it/exTxAv @FHF_Official @shividungarpur

Some films age. Some films endure. And then there are films like The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. 23 years later, I experienced this masterpiece on the big screen the way Sergio Leone truly intended. Read my thoughts here: boxd.it/epNSmb @FHF_Official @shividungarpur

Great insight about leaks and post production in general and what needs to be done to fix it. Irony is we all forgot and go back to our routine in day or week once we forgot this. Great post @editorsuresh
Twenty-one years in the edit suite and running post-production teams has taught me one hard truth about this industry: Piracy is no longer a technology problem. It’s a workflow and accountability problem. #FilmIndustry #PostProduction #ContentSecurity linkedin.com/posts/editorsur…

One of the best streaks of 2025 belongs to Josh O’Connor: Max Walker-Silverman’s Rebuilding, Oliver Hermanus’s The History of Sound, Kelly Reichardt’s The Mastermind and Rian Johnson’s Wake Up Dead Man. Up next: Steven Spielberg’s Disclosure Day and Joel Coen’s Jack of Spades.

IMO, a 2-hour runtime is a big advantage for theatres: 5-6 shows/day, better prime-time spacing, faster turnarounds & easier scheduling across screens. More slots = higher revenue, greater footfall, boosted F&B sales, quicker WOM & stronger repeat viewings. Just an observation.

A titan of Indian advertising, he crafted iconic campaigns for Cadbury, Fevicol, Nestle, and more, leaving an indelible mark on the industry. May his legacy inspire generations to come. 🕯️🌹
