Snowstorm: Students write down what they learned on a piece of scratch paper and wad it up. Given a signal, they
throw their paper snowballs in the air. Then each learner picks up a nearby response and reads it aloud.

First graders at PC are currently working on a sound unit! Today, we learned about Wasilly Kandinsky (he was an artist who could hear color and see sound ๐คฏ).
Students created artwork based on a what they thought a specific sound would depict.

Today for Art History, our artist of the day was Jean Michel Basquiat ๐ in honor of Black History Month. As a kid, Jean Michel Basquiat was hit by a car. During his recovery, his mom bought him the book Grayโs Anatomy. Basquiat was only 8 and learned all about the body systems!
