This is Coyolxauhqui, the Mexica (Aztec) goddess who became the moon. Her brother Huitzilopochtli, who is the sun, was born in the middle of the war and killed Coyolxauhqui. This symbolizes the dawn. You can buy my prints of the Mexica gods in my INPRNT store, link in my profile
