Texas has now topped 8 million votes heading into today's final day of in-person early voting, according to the Texas Division of Elections.
That is about 1 million votes behind the 2020 presidential election cycle going into the final day of in-person early voting.
in total, houston (harris county) voters cast 1,232,960 ballots during the 12-day early voting period (that's in-person mail). we have 2,693,055 registered voters here. the other 1,460,095 people: polls will be open 7am-7pm on tuesday, election day.
